What is a Trading Win Rate Calculator?

A trading win rate calculator shows the percentage of completed trades that were profitable. Win rate should be considered together with average win, average loss, costs and drawdown.

Formula

Win rate = Winning trades ÷ Total completed trades

Example calculation

Thirty winning trades out of 50 completed trades produces a 60% win rate.

How to use this tool responsibly

  • Use completed trades only.
  • Do not evaluate win rate alone.
  • Use a meaningful sample size.
