Copyright and Intellectual Property Policy

1. Purpose of This Policy

This Copyright and Intellectual Property Policy explains ownership and permitted use of materials available through GetMyTradingBot. It also describes how users may report material that they believe infringes their copyright or other intellectual property rights.

This Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Paper Trading and Risk Disclosure.

2. GetMyTradingBot Materials

Unless otherwise stated, the GetMyTradingBot website, service, user interface, layouts, original source code, compiled code, documentation, written content, educational materials, graphics, illustrations, videos, reports, templates, and other original materials are owned by GetMyTradingBot or licensed to GetMyTradingBot.

These materials may be protected by copyright, trademark, trade-secret, contract, and other applicable laws.

The presence of material on the website does not grant a transfer of ownership or an unrestricted license to copy, distribute, modify, publish, sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit that material.

3. GetMyTradingBot Name and Branding

The GetMyTradingBot name, logos, product appearance, branding, domain name, icons, slogans, and related source identifiers may be protected by trademark, unfair-competition, and other laws.

You may not use GetMyTradingBot branding in a manner that falsely suggests sponsorship, approval, partnership, affiliation, or endorsement.

You may not create a confusingly similar website, service, logo, domain, social-media account, or product identity intended to impersonate or misrepresent GetMyTradingBot.

4. Limited Permission to Use the Service

Subject to the Terms of Service, GetMyTradingBot grants registered users a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable permission to access and use the service for its intended educational and paper-trading purposes.

This permission does not authorize you to reproduce, redistribute, sell, rent, lease, sublicense, publicly display, reverse engineer, or create a competing service from GetMyTradingBot materials except where applicable law expressly permits such activity.

5. User Bot Configurations and Content

Users retain ownership of original content they lawfully create and submit, including original bot names, descriptions, written explanations, uploaded materials, and original configuration content, subject to the rights of others.

A user's ownership of original content does not create exclusive rights in general trading ideas, indicators, mathematical formulas, methods, systems, procedures, market facts, commonly used strategy concepts, or functionality that is not protected by copyright.

Multiple users may independently create similar bots, strategies, indicator selections, confirmation rules, risk settings, or symbol allocations.

Users must not submit content copied from another person or organization unless they have permission or another lawful basis to use it.

6. License Needed to Operate the Platform

By submitting content to GetMyTradingBot, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, format, display, and transmit that content as reasonably necessary to:

• Provide and secure your account.
• Operate your configured paper-trading bots.
• Display your dashboards and reports.
• Provide support and investigate errors.
• Display information that you intentionally submit to a public leaderboard or public feature.
• Maintain reasonable backups and operational records.

This operational license does not transfer ownership of your original content to GetMyTradingBot.

7. Platform-Provided Templates and Examples

Bot templates, suggested values, examples, documentation, educational explanations, sample settings, reports, and exported materials supplied by GetMyTradingBot remain GetMyTradingBot or third-party materials.

Modifying a platform template does not automatically transfer ownership of the underlying template or platform code.

Templates and examples are educational materials and are not guarantees of performance or investment recommendations.

8. Exported Scripts and Files

GetMyTradingBot may permit users to export scripts, reports, settings, or other files. Export permission is limited to the purposes and conditions presented by the service and the Terms of Service.

Exporting a file does not grant ownership of GetMyTradingBot code, branding, templates, proprietary logic, documentation, or third-party materials contained in or used to produce that file.

You may not remove copyright, trademark, authorship, license, attribution, or proprietary notices where those notices are included.

9. Prohibited Uses

You may not, without authorization:

• Copy or republish substantial portions of the website or its educational materials.
• Scrape, harvest, mirror, frame, or reproduce the service to create a competing database or platform.
• Sell, sublicense, rent, or commercially redistribute GetMyTradingBot materials.
• Remove or obscure copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices.
• Use GetMyTradingBot branding to impersonate the service or mislead users.
• Upload or distribute material that infringes another person's copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights.
• Claim ownership of GetMyTradingBot source code, design, branding, or original platform content.

10. Third-Party Materials

The service may include or interact with third-party names, trademarks, software, libraries, market data, documentation, websites, videos, APIs, and other materials.

Third-party materials remain owned by their respective owners and may be governed by separate licenses, terms, attribution requirements, and usage restrictions.

References to Alpaca, Google, Vercel, Neon, Resend, or another third party do not imply that GetMyTradingBot owns that party's intellectual property.

11. Open-Source Software

Portions of the service may use open-source software. Open-source components remain governed by their applicable licenses.

If this Policy conflicts with an applicable open-source license regarding a particular component, the open-source license controls for that component.

12. Copyright Complaints

A copyright owner or authorized representative who believes material available through GetMyTradingBot infringes copyright may email a written complaint to support@getmytradingbot.com or submit it through our Contact page.

The complaint should include:

• A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative.
• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
• Identification and location of the allegedly infringing material within GetMyTradingBot.
• Contact information, including an email address and, where appropriate, an address and telephone number.
• A statement of good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement that the information is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that the complaining person is authorized to act for the copyright owner.

Incomplete complaints may delay our ability to locate, investigate, or respond to the identified material.

13. Our Response to Complaints

We may investigate a complaint, request additional information, restrict access to identified material, remove material, preserve relevant records, or contact the user who submitted the material.

We may restore material when appropriate after reviewing a response, correction, retraction, counter-notification, or other relevant information.

Submitting a knowingly false or misleading complaint may create legal liability.

14. Repeat Infringement

GetMyTradingBot may restrict or terminate accounts that repeatedly infringe intellectual-property rights or repeatedly submit unauthorized material.

We may also act when a single incident presents a serious legal, security, or platform risk.

15. Feedback

Suggestions, ideas, feature requests, corrections, and other feedback may be used by GetMyTradingBot without restriction or compensation, provided we do not publicly identify the person who submitted the feedback without permission.

16. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy when the service, content features, complaint procedures, ownership arrangements, or applicable requirements change.

The updated page will display a revised effective date.
